According to [Money.com](https://money.com/why-workers-quit-jobs-reasons/), more than 60% of workers want to quit their jobs. Americans today feel working 9-5 is a waste of life.

However, according to the [Bureau of Labor Statistics](https://www.bls.gov/news.release/jolts.nr0.htm), only 2.1% quit in July. Further, according to [Yahoo Finance](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/american-workers-stuck-place-because-201601302.html), searches for “quitting job” are declining, and those for “Stuck at work” are increasing.

Why is that? Why is it so hard to leave a toxic job?

The one-line answer to that question is, “They are afraid!” They ask, “What’s the best way to escape a 9-5 job without losing a large amount of income? What makes it possible?” And if even you’re looking for a way to escape 9-5 trap, you’re in the right place.
